Dr. Yacoub Al-Mazrou, Secretary General of the Council of Health Services (CHS), has lauded the support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, for health services. Dr. Al Al-Mazrou pointed out in a press conference, held on the occasion of the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the inauguration of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Riyadh, that this important medical edifice wouldn't be established during this short period without the support of Almighty Allah, and patronage and heed of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Excellency Crown Prince, and his Excellency Second Deputy, May Allah bless them all.
Dr. Al-Mazrou said, “I would like to extend my gratitude for such magnificent medical edifice after being concrete reality and in line with the targets of health care strategies adopted in the Kingdom, most importantly, the distribution of health services in a balanced manner geographically and demographically to fulfill the healthy needs of the whole classes and individuals all over the Kingdom.”
He went on to say, “By virtue of the capabilities of such a medical edifice (500 beds, 102 beds for intensive care units, 63 emergency rooms, and 15 digital operation rooms), It's expected that this edifice serves the residents of Riyadh capital so that it can be an important source of providing health care for Riyadh residents, and the Kingdom generally, consequently, it can be added to the series of great medical edifices in our beloved country.”
Dr. Al-Mazrou also mentioned, “Thanks to the support of our Almighty Allah and directions and follow-up of our Wise Leadership, the operations of renewal, construction, and inauguration of health centers, hospitals and other health projects are conducted almost daily all over our beloved country with the aim of serving citizens and affording them a luxurious life.”
“Care and heed can be wisely witnessed in the health sector, most importantly, allocating the greatest budgets, overcoming difficulties and obstacles to growth and development of this sector, whether through provision of advanced devices and equipments or through education and training of individuals. That's to be added to establishing facilities, hospitals and vital projects that aim to provide care and development of the Saudi citizens.” added Dr. Al-Mazrou.
In conclusion, Al-Mazrou was quoted as saying, “With the continuity of establishing dozens of huge projects by the Ministry of Health recently, the health care system has become integrated, providing its services easily for all citizens all over the Kingdom.”
