Dr. Khojah Thanks the Leaders for Inaugurating Prince Mohammed bin Abdul-Aziz Hospital in Riyadh

The Director-General of the Executive Board of the GCC Council of Health Ministers, Dr. Tawfik bin Ahmed Khojah, extended the deepest thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz; and His Royal Highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz. This is on the occasion of the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of opening Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Riyadh next Sunday, 28/4/2013, appreciating his wholehearted support the health services enjoy in order to provide the capabilities of the inclusive health care for citizens.
 
He went on to say that "establishing this hospital is an extension for the successes which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia achieved in the human development field and the advancement of the gulf nation's mission, and health welfare. Thus, it is to contribute to bringing about a pioneering health leap towards preparing the qualified health cadres in the specialized and general health fields. It is also another gate for the preeminence of the human kingdom over the Council's states; it is truly a new achievement and another giving added to the asset and giving of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his prudent Government. So, he rightly deserved to be dubbed "the King of Humanity", as his extraordinary traits, May Allah be praised, is a beacon guiding to the right path, enhancing morale, gaining the scientific and practical knowledge for more flourishing future, and days promising more work, hope, and giving."
 
In the meantime, Dr. Khojah expressed his overwhelming happiness with establishing this colossal medical edifice which Allah willing, will be a medical beacon and a new health achievement and giving added to the asset of the achievements of the health services in this giving, munificent country. He went on appreciating the Royal Highness Patronage regarding establishing this hospital which comes as part of the pioneering steps, successive achievements, and quantum leap in the health work march, not only at the level of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but also at the GCC's level. This hospital established with the aim of raising the medical services efficiency, developing labor force and developing it, and an extension to the joint gulf health work march in this country whose people deserve all developing and flourishing.
 
Within the same vein, the Director-General of the Executive Board of the GCC Council of Health Ministers lauded the opening of this hospital through which the gulf brotherhood in all fields is to be developed, of which is the health services and advancing of their levels. It is also a positive, handy addition to the march of the health services in our Kingdom and gulf states, especially given that this hospital includes 500 beds in line with the latest global designs; of which are 102 intensive care beds; in addition to 63 emergency rooms, 15 digital operating theaters, X-ray department, and a laboratory including the highest medical equipment. As such, developing and upgrading the quality of the health services in any of the member states reflect positively and directly on the rest of the gulf system.
 
Further, Dr. Khojah pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not only of the gulf states with distinctive reputation in terms of the health services but also a model to be followed in terms of these services and related initiatives, at both the regional and international levels. He also mentioned the comprehensive advancement which the Kingdom witnesses, May Allah be praised, in all the aspects of life, on the top of which comes the blessing health advancement. He further spoke about the growing health awareness resulting from the health awareness campaigns, and the positive repercussions for that on the health indicators and measures which are detected by the regional and international organizations. In addition to this, the set health strategies and the short and long term health campaigns reflect how the state's prudent leadership and those in charge of the health sector are interested in this vital sector which is one of the main development pillars; and May Allah be praised, it has become a beacon guiding all people, from far and wide; and its fingerprints are strongly felt.
