Dr. Al-Rabeeah Appoints Elham Sendi as Director General of Nursing Affairs

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, has issued a decree appointing Mrs. Elham bint Ahmad Sendi to assume the responsibilities of the Director-General of Nursing Affairs for one year as of the decree’s issuance date.
 
This decree comes in line with the Ministry’s approaches to investing all qualified health cadres to meet the aspiration of the Saudi Leaders – May Allah protect them – and fulfill the health needs of citizens within the policies and approaches of the Ministry to rotate the leading positions, support health facilities with health competencies and enrich them with distinguished expertise to contribute to serve patients and qualify the offered services.
 
For her part, Mrs. Sendi has expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Health for his precious confidence, praying to Allah to grant her with the support to hold this responsibility.
 
It is noteworthy, Mrs. Sendi was granted a nursing master’s degree from King Saud University in 1996. She has been working at the MOH eneral Directorate of Nursing since April 2012. Moreover, she has been holding several positions such as the Chief of Continuous Education and Community Service at the College of Health Sciences, then the Vice Dean of the College of Health Sciences, and then the Dean of the College of Health Sciences in 2004-2005. She is a member at GCC Nursing Technical Committee of the Executive Board of the GCC Council of Health Ministers, a member of The Saudi Scientific Association for Nursing, a member of Arab Advisory Committee for Nursing and Midwifery.
