MOH Executive Board Approves the Supply Policies of Therapeutic Dental Implants and Orthodontics

​The Executive Board of the Ministry of Health (MOH) has approved the mechanism and policies of supplies and consumable tools of therapeutic dental implants and orthodontics in the MOH specialized dental centers.

This was endorsed during the 2nd meeting of the Executive Board in 1434H, which was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah on Saturday morning, 12/1/2013 (corresponding to 30/2/1434H) at the MOH Main Auditorium. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has welcomed the MOH Assistant Undersecretary of Health Economics, Dr. Saleh Al-Sehibani, who has been designated recently. Thereafter, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has pointed out that this year's munificent budget and MOH health projects that have been approved will contribute, Allah Willing, to supporting the health services as well as providing the medical healthcare for patients and satisfying the citizens’ health needs.

 
In the same vein, the MOH Spokesman, Dr. Khaled Marghalani, made clear that the Executive Board has commended the significant role of the National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO), meanwhile urging the MOH concerned departments and health affairs directorates throughout the regions and governorates to make use of its flexible procedures in providing the pharmaceutical supplies.
 
Dr. Marghalani went on adding that Executive Board has discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including this year's MOH budget, redistributing the jobs of Home and Community Medicine according to the needs of regions and in a manner that ensures serving the patient and promoting the quality of performance in health facilities.
