​The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced opening the door to enroll into the Masters Degree of Public Health - Department of Epidemiology as well as the Diploma of Field Epidemiology in 2013-2014. These programs are organized by the Ministry of Health, represented by the Agency of Public Health, in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at King Saud University in Riyadh.

The General Supervisor on the Field Epidemiology Program, Dr. Muhammad Al-Mazrou, pointed out that the period of study in these programs is two years. Besides, the general requirements to be met by the applicants for these programs are that they have to be Saudi and having a Bachelor's degree from a Saudi or any other authorized university on one of the health specialties. That’s to be added to some other requirements which are available on the program’s website. Furthermore, he said that the study of the program is provided for applicants from the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Dr. Al-Mazrou notified that the deadline for receiving applications is 08/02/1434H, (corresponding to 21/12/2012) through the Admission e-Portal of Postgraduate Studies at King Saud University on the following link: http://dgs.ksu.edu.sa.
