Cardiac care units, however, received 17 cases, all of who left after receiving the necessary treatment. The emergency section received a total of 621 cases, whereas the Haram emergency centers received 458 cases.

Dr. Bakhsh was quoted as saying, “I, as well as all those working at Ajyad Hospital and the Haram Health Centers, are working day and time to provide best-quality health services for pilgrims, in compliance with the plan enacted by the Ministry of Health, and under the supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah. In doing so, we seek to provide all that maintains pilgrims' health and safety, emanating from our staunch belief that serving pilgrims is not only a religious role to be incurred, but a patriotic role as well, thus promoting the Kingdom's leading role in the region and the whole world. May Allah help all of us, make success of our efforts, accept pilgrims' pilgrimage, so as to return back home with all their sins absolved.”
