Dr. Amody: Madinah Cardiac Center at Pilgrims' Service

   The Director-General of Madinah Cardiac Center, adult-heart consultant, Dr. Usamah bin Ahmed Amody, has pointed out that 235 cardiac patients have been treated since the beginning of Dhu al-Qa'dah; out of whom there are 34 pilgrims, provided by cardiac services at Madinah Cardiac Center. 

Dr. Amody added that the pilgrims represent 14.5% of the total of the patients frequenting the Center since the beginning of the Hajj season. And he went on to say that 21 pilgrims have undergone successful cardiac catheterization operations, open-heart surgery for a patient, and the remainder have undergone the necessary examinations and taken the proper medicine, affirming that all the departments of the Center have been harnessed to serve the pilgrims, for example, the pharmacological department has redeemed more than 550 medicines for pilgrims, and it has conducted 1010 laboratory analyses by a percentage more than 50% of the same period last year.   

The adult-heart consultant, Dr. Amody has made clear that the Center has served the pilgrims properly, and provided the medical care for all the pilgrims of the different nationalities.

It is worthwhile to mention that Madinah Cardiac Center is equipped with the latest facilities to treat heart diseases in the Middle East, and works around the clock to serve Madinah's residents and the Hajj and Umrah performers.
