An Honoring Ceremony for MOH Retirees Held under Dr. Al-Rabeeah's Auspices

   This morning, an honoring ceremony for MOH retirees was held under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah. In his speech delivered on this occasion, Dr. Al-Rabeeah said, “Today, while bidding farewell to a constellation of the MOH employees who spared no effort to serve patients, and assumed their tasks and responsibilities to perfection, we would like to stress that they left us only physically, but their effect will continue to be reflected in the best-quality health services provided for our nation and people.”
 
On behalf of all the MOH employees, Dr. Al-Rabeeah expressed his sincere gratitude and recognition for their strenuous efforts which gave rise to the development process the Kingdom witnesses under the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, May Allah protect them. “It is a great honor for all retirees that they have been always endeavoring to serve the people of this blessed country, and preserve their health,” Dr. Al-Rabeeah added.
 
Addressing retirees, His Excellency the Minister of Health went on to say, “Your role in the improvement of health services is beyond doubt. Thanks to your sincere efforts, the health services provided in the Kingdom are now as advanced as those provided in the developed countries.” Meanwhile, he called upon them to continue support the Ministry of Health (MOH) by expressing their opinions, so that the Ministry could benefit from their experiences, seeking to accomplish the high-quality, development and justice of the health services provided in the Kingdom of Humanity. Concluding his statement, Dr. Al-Rabeeah wished success for all of them in the upcoming juncture of their lives, affirming that their colleagues in the Ministry will always remember them.
 
For his part, the Chairman of the Honoring Committee, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Marghalani, was quoted as saying, “The Islamic Shari'a urges us to be loyal, and we have been taught by our Wise Leadership, that those who gave sincerely deserve to be honored. In this spirit, we are keen to honor a constellation of retirees, in recognition of their efforts in the improvement and development of healthcare services, and in quest to return the favor, as they showed unparalleled loyalty to this nation, and this people. Their unstinting efforts have been well reflected in raising the level of health services provided for our citizens. However, this should come as no surprise, as we are all well aware that they are the loyal sons of our blessed kingdom.”
 
The Director-General of Personnel Rights, Dr. Fahad Al-Sedairi, for his part, pointed out that, at the direction of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, to keep a close eye on retirees and not to forget them. “To that end,” he said, “the Personnel Rights Department was created with the aim to maintain the employees' rights, and following up their rights and duties.” He prayed for Allah to grant success for all retirees.
 
Within this context, Dr. Talal Bayari, a pediatrician, delivered an address in which he said, “We spent the greater part of our lives in the Ministry of Health (MOH), during which we learned and taught a lot. Therefore, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Ministry, for the support we have been always receiving from the Ministry. Likewise, we would like to apologize for any error or mistake committed against any of you. May Allah grant you all success, and help you incur your tasks to perfection, by way of strenuous efforts meant to fulfill citizens' aspirations and putting them into effect. That's to be added to the accomplishment of the world's highest standards of health services; which I actually see so close to be attained.”
 
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, handed over honoring shields to those honored by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
 
For their part, a number of the retirees expressed their happiness and satisfaction about this honoring ceremony. One of them, Mr. Mohammed Faisal Al-Metairi, said, “I would like to pay a tribute to all those who gave rise to health services under the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. It does not escape my notice, also, to extend thanks to all my colleagues who made every effort seeking to maintain people's health. Similarly, I call upon all to seek excuse for all those who made errors, considering that we are all full of loyalty and enthusiasm, and errors are always possible, though unintentional. May Allah grant success to all of us.”
