Under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, the 3rd Consultative Meeting of the MOH officials at the Kingdom's regions and provinces will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, April 10th, 2012. It is worth mentioning that Yanbo' will host this meeting for two days.
The Director-General of Public Relations, Media and Health Awareness, Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Marghalani, pointed out that this meeting is held once a year in one of the Kingdom's regions, on a regular basis. The Ministry has raised the slogan: “Patient first”, and looked upon it as a top priority, in order for this slogan to be put into action for all the beneficiaries of health services.
He went on to explain that the meeting is direct means of communication with health senior officials, and a manifestation of the continuation of the principle of transparency in interaction and proposing solutions meant to maximize the benefit of patients. A number of the topics on the agenda of the meeting, especially those relevant to serving patients and preserving their safety, will be discussed. Also, the hardships and impediments facing health affairs directorates will be highlighted, and proper solutions will be sought after. In doing so, we are looking forward to improving health performance so as to fulfill the Wise Leadership's aspirations on the one hand, and, on the other, meet citizens' requirements.
It is worth mentioning that the last consultative meeting of MOH senior officials was held in Dammam, whereupon a variety of axes and patient-centered programs, basically intended to provide best health services for patients, including the Ministry's preventive and developmental programs.
