Within the framework of the MOH's early preparations for 1433-Hajj season, and in compliance with the decision made by His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, to form the MOH's Preparatory Hajj Committees under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Dr. Mohammed Hamzah Khushaim, the second meeting of the committees was held yesterday. Participants in the meeting discussed the report of proposals and suggestions put forward after conducting comprehensive review of all the actions and procedures taken in this regard. In addition, discussions covered the reports submitted by the heads of committees, as well as the training courses and programs related to these committees during Hajj season.
Moreover, the meeting shed light on what has been accomplished in the Holy Places' projects. It also stressed the need for 50 advanced, well-equipped ambulances to be added to the Hajj ambulance fleet this year. The meeting also included a presentation of the variables and developments of the manpower program. The presentation was given by the Director General of Hajj and Umrah Health Services, Dr. Taha Al-Khatib. He gave elaborate account of the numbers, distribution, categorization, roles, tasks and demands of workforce. Dr Al-Khatib's presentation tackled, also, the ways of development of health services during the upcoming Hajj season, aside from a number of various topics on the meeting agenda.
