Dr. Al Thebity Open a Training Course for Domestic Medicine Program Trainers

General Supervisor Assistant for Domestic Medicine Program, Dr. Faisal AL Thebity, has clarified that chronic diseases cases has reached 25% of cases total which has been provided with health care services through Domestic Medicine Program, where neural system and brain strokes cases has reached 23%, mental diseases 18%, geriatrics 8% then cancer which scored the lowest percentage 2%.
Dr. Al Thebity pointed out that the number of beneficiaries of the program, carried out by the Ministry of Health at the level of the Kingdom's regions and cities, has exceeded (6000) patients.
He also added, during the opening of the training course for Domestic Medicine Program trainers yesterday, that that program is considered one of the most updated programs in the Ministry and aims to provide healthcare services for patients in their homes (curative, preventive, social and raising awareness services).
Moreover, the program was a success since its launching date, Rabie AL Awall 1431H, and covered all regions of the Kingdom through specialized medical teams.
Dr. AL Thebity has also clarified that according to the Minister of Health directions, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz AL Rabeeah, the Ministry is dedicated to serve such patients, where Domestic Medicine Program has been provided with 80 vehicle across the Kingdom as a first batch.
