Dr. Al Ghamdi: Speedy Implementation of Royal Decrees

​Assistant Undersecretary for Curative Medicine, Dr. Aqeel Al Ghamdi emphasized the importance of a speedy implementation of the Royal Decrees allocating SR 16 billion to the Ministry of Health. SR 540 million of this amount will be used to establish ICU centers. He praised the Kingdom’s leadership for their keen interest in providing vital specialized health services Kingdomwide.
 
During the meeting, which covered such topics as expansion and support for ICU, Neo-natal and ER departments, Dr. Al Ghamdi stated that each regional directorate must work hard to implement the Royal Decrees as soon as possible.

 In his speech to the Kingdom’s regional health affairs directors, he encouraged them to benefit from the Royal Decrees, saying that the additional funding will allow for a quantum leap in the level of national healthcare. These allocations are targeted for improving specialized, fourth-level health services in various parts of the Kingdom through the establishment of new medical cities and hospitals.
Moreover, he asserted that the implementation of these Royal Decrees is a high priority for the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabeeah. Dr. Al Rabeeah is very keen to implement and launch these projects as soon as possible in accordance with the Royal Directives.
