Executive Affairs Deputy Minister, Dr. Mansour Al Hawasi will launch the activities of the Hospital Directors' Skills Development Training Program organized by the General Directorate of Hospitals in cooperation with General Directorate for Training and Scholarship to (100-150 beds) hospitals on Saturday 19/2/2011 in the Tulip Inn Riyadh.
This program will be within the framework of MOH efforts to improve work at its hospitals, and the comprehensive plan to develop hospital director's performance.
This plan aims to provide them with the basics of hospital management and the needed skills to run their hospitals. That is by introducing them to the management basics, the main principles of health care quality, strategic planning concept, elements and obstacles, change management, performance evaluating methods in addition to the management role in accrediting hospitals.
Moreover, it also aims to provide them with the effective director main skills (solving problems - making decisions – communication and medical consultation skills – team leading - effective director skills and characteristics)
Moreover, workshops will be organized with MOH General Directorates' managers and leaders to identify these directorates' tasks in addition to solve hospital directors' problems and answer their questions.
