As part of the Ministry of Health dedication and commitment to provide high quality services for patients and as for its concerns of patients privacy, the Ministry directed all health facilities to cancel all medication description forms from drug stockrooms and replaced by forms decrypted directly from pharmacies after doctors consultation.
This came in an instruction bulletin dispatched by Executive Affairs Deputy Minister, Dr. Mansour Bin Nasser Al Hawasi, to all Health Affairs Directorates. Moreover, the bulletin confirms on decrypting drugs to patients only through health facilities pharmacies based on medicine descriptions from certified doctors works whether in hospitals or primary health care centre.
