Saudi Commission for Health Specialities Meeting

His Excellency Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabeeah , in the first meeting of Year 1431.
 
with  Board members of Saudi Council for Health Specialties at the  headquarters of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter in the presence of Dr. Hussein Bin Mohammad Al Freihi Secretary-General of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties and the Council members, in the beginning of the meeting His Excellency the President welcomed the members, then Secretary-General briefed the Council on a range of topics and interviews conducted, and the Council then discussed the topics on the agenda, the Council discussed the memo him about the final accounts of the Commission for the fiscal year 1430/1431 AH (2009), and the Council adopted its decision to adopt the final accounts of the Commission for the fiscal year 1430/1431.
 
The Council also adopted a consultancy to review and audit the accounts of the Commission for the fiscal year 1431/1432 AH (2010).
In addition, The council decided to approve on granting the Saudi Fellowship Certificate in the field of Anesthesia to Professor Doctor Mohamed Bin Abdullah Seraj and granting the Honorary Fellowship Certificate in the Medicine and the Surgery and  granting of Honorary Fellowship in Ophthalmology to Professor Doctor Khaled Bin Fouad Tbara and grants Certificate of Honorary Fellowship in Internal Medicine to Professor Doctor Faleh Bin Zaid Al Faleh for their effective role in the community welfare.
 
Mostly the subjects that have been discussed in the council were the participation in the benefit of a toll of the specification examinations at the organization. Then the council briefed the recommendation of the executive council recording to the approval on the right of the councils and the scientific committees to charge the fees to support the activities of the scientific programs.
 
Then briefed the Council on the recommendation of the Executive Board for approval of the eligibility of scientific boards and committees to collect additional fees to support the activities of the scientific programs and setting fees for programs administered by the Commission, and after discussion the Council adopted resolution to approve the eligibility of boards and scientific committees to collect additional fees to support the training activities in terms of principle and not to exceed 50% of the training fees charged by the Commission with the exception of dental specialties and forensic medicine, as annexed to the resolution.
 
The Council then adopted the unified regulation of the financial system for training funds attached.
 
And then briefed the Board on the request of a group of specialists in the field of health management systems and approve the establishment of the Saudi and health management systems under the umbrella of the Commission and having considered the recommendation of the Council of association and discussion, the Council adopted its resolution approving the formation of the Saudi health management.
 
Modify the name of the General Assembly of the Saudi and health management systems to the Saudi Association for Health Management.
 
The council offered by many thanks and the gratitude to the professor Doctor / Hussein Bin Mohamed Al Frihi on what he presented from a work and a distinguished effort during its undertaking this position over thirteen years became the organization from the pioneer enterprises in the fields of training and examinations. After study and discussion it decided to form a committee to examine complaints relating to termination of registration procedures, classification and licensing of the provisional membership of the following
 
Dr. Ali Al Zawawi - a president
A representative from the Ministry of Health.
A representative from King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.
A representative from the universities.
A representative from the health affairs by the National Guard.
A representative from the private sector
Assuming that the committee refers its recommendations to the Board during 15 days from its formation
