He said CCCR has raised the number of cardiopulmonary resuscitation centers in the different parts of Kingdom from 6 to 27. "They provide specialized training courses in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation to technicians, physicians and community sectors", he said "Medical and other university students, high school students, and students of health institutes and colleges are also included".

According to Dr. Khan, CCCR is assigned to carry out a number of tasks including establishment of cardiopulmonary resuscitation centers at some major MOH hospitals, coordination with relative MOH and other bodies for providing trainers in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and reactivation of current centers. He said the Sacred Capital cardiopulmonary resuscitation center has been selected to be a reference center for other MOH cardiopulmonary resuscitation centers.
