The Director General of Health Affairs in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Chairman of Hajj Executive Committee Dr. Yasser bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi issued a decree requiring formation of a Hajj Committee in Makkah Al-Mukarramah including as members the heads of local committees and directorates which are parallel to the committees emerging from the Hajj Preparatory Committee.
The decree issued as per the instructions of the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane approved the assignment of the local heads of committees as follows: Eng Naif Abdul Rahman Qutb for the Equipment and Medical Maintenance Committee, pharmacist Mohammed Ahmed Al-Maliki for the Medical Supply and Preparation Committee, Mr. Hasan Marzooq Al-Twairqi for the Technical Supervisory Committee of Labs and Blood Banks, Mr. Yahia Abdullah Al-Harbi for the Statistics Committee, and Mr. Khalid Salim Bamqa for the Computer Committee.
The decree also approved coordination with the committees included in the decree as follows: Dr. Abdul Hafeez Maroof Turkistani (the Committee of Preventive Medicine), Dr. Zamil Jameel Attar (the Committee of Visiting Manpower), Mr. Usama Hasan Azab (the Manpower Committee), Dr. Abdul Fattah Ibrahim Sendi (the Committee of Emergency and Field Medicine), Dr. Faeq Mohammed Hussain (the Committee of Public Relations and Information), Mr. Mohammed Hamid Al-Jabri (the Committee of Evaluation and Follow up), Mr. Owaid Abdullah Al-Salmi (the Committee of Financial Affairs), Mr. Sameer Abdul Wahab (the Committee of Purchasing), Mr. Fawzi Abdullah Al-Mqrin (the Committee of Nutrition), Mr. Jameel Isa Muraiani and Mr. Ahmed Siraj Maroof (the Committee of Public Services), and Mr. Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Jahili (the Committee of Stock Control).
The decree requested the heads of local committees to provide the Hajj and Omrah Directorate with the names of their nominees, whether from the Province or from outside, especially those who have previously worked in the above committees.
