MOH Undersecretary for Executive Affairs Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Hawasi shall open the scientific symposium organized by the Assistant Undersecretary of Preventive Medicine under the title "Diseases of environmental origin" on 12th and 13th/05/1428.
The symposium, which is organized in coordination with the World Health Organization, aims at enlisting the diseases of environmental origin, differentiating them for other diseases, establishing a database for them, improving the techniques of dealing with them, providing health workers with relative knowledge and information, and casting light on the importance of health education.
A most important topic on the agenda is "Environmental Diseases: Legislations, Specifications, and methodology of managing environmental health"
