Page Content
The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane instructed all hospitals and health centers, including the private sector, through an urgent circulation issued to all directorates of health affairs throughout the Kingdom, to admit and treat emergency and relief cases. The circulation also confirmed the importance of admitting emergency cases transferred from the Saudi Red Crescent Society.
Dr. Khalid Al-Marghalani, the General Supervisor of Information and Health Education, said the official MOH instruction confirmed the necessity of admitting all emergency cases, especially critical cases which require prompt medical intervention. He said hospitals and health centers which are not abiding with the instruction shall be penalized.
According to Al-Marghalani, the instruction came due to what have noticed by the Saudi Red Crescent regarding rejection of emergency cases by some hospitals.
