The Employees Affairs General Manager Abdullah A. Al-Mitairi issued a decree whereby the status of 56 lab technicians holding university degrees has been corrected in accordance with the guidelines provided for in the minutes prepared by the committee formed by the Ministry of Health.
He said those employees have been appointed in positions allotted for microbiology and biochemical lab technicians, whereas they deserve the status of specialist.
Having been moved to the status of specialist, those employees must resume their new duties within 15 days starting from the date of the decree, said Al-Mitairi.
He said no employee shall have the right to demand shifting from the position to which he has been appointed unless at least one year has passed from the date of the decree.
