The Board of Directors of the Public Health Authority "Weqaya" has issued a decision appointing Dr. Talal bin Abdulrahman AlTuwaijri as Chief Executive Officer of the Authority. Al-Tuwaijri previously served as Deputy Minister for Planning and Transformation at the Ministry of Health, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives related to the health sector transformation under Saudi Vision 2030. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as Secretary of the Committee Concerned with COVID-19 Control Measures, supporting related national efforts.
Al-Tuwaijri works as a Professor at the College of Medicine at King Saud University, alongside his participation in several national committees and initiatives aimed at developing the health sector and enhancing public health.
