Bahrain’s Crown Prince Meets Saudi Health Minister

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, met with the Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, during His Highness's reception of the heads of delegations participating in the 12th Meeting of the GCC Health Ministers Committee.

During the meeting, Minister AlJalajel conveyed the greetings of the Wise Leadership, and their wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its brotherly people for continued progress and prosperity. The meeting reaffirmed the deep-rooted fraternal ties binding the GCC states and highlighted the importance of advancing joint Gulf action, particularly in the health sector, to enhance the efficiency and readiness of healthcare systems.

The Minister of Health participated in both the 12th Meeting of the GCC Health Ministers Committee and the 89th Session of the GCC Health Ministers Council, held in Bahrain to address key shared health priorities and enhance regional coordination and integration.

The meetings covered several priority issues, including fostering innovation and digital transformation in the health sector, elevating health preparedness, and monitoring the implementation of the Joint Action Plan for the GCC Health Ministers Committee (2026–2030). Discussions also focused on expanding cooperation and sharing successful practices to promote system efficiency, sustainability, and overall public health.

Furthermore, His Excellency held several bilateral meetings to discuss joint health initiatives and welcomed the GCC Ministers of Health to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia next year, as it prepares to host the upcoming 47th Session of the GCC Supreme Council.
