Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel today began an official visit to the Portuguese Republic, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations, expand prospects for health cooperation, and exchange expertise in areas of mutual interest.
During the visit, the Minister will hold a series of meetings with officials and healthcare leaders in Portugal to explore opportunities for advancing cooperation and exchanging expertise across various health fields. He will also highlight the Kingdom's experience in health transformation and learn from Portuguese experiences and practices in advancing health systems and services and fostering innovation.
The visit builds on the growing relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Portuguese Republic and reflects both countries' commitment to strengthening partnership and knowledge and expertise exchange. It also contributes to advancing the healthcare sector and supporting the shared interests of both countries.
