Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, today launched the digital connectivity between
Seha Virtual Hospital and the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan at the headquarters of UZINFOCOM Single Integrator, following his visit to the Digital Health Center in Tashkent. The launch took place as part of his official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan and marks a significant step toward strengthening the strategic partnership and advancing high-value healthcare cooperation and investment between the two countries.
The digital connectivity represents a major milestone in integrating the digital health infrastructure of both countries. It enables direct communication channels that allow physicians to collaborate across borders to save lives and deliver healthcare services in real time, including consultations, diagnosis, and treatment around the clock, regardless of geographical boundaries. It also enables healthcare professionals to benefit from the expertise of Saudi physicians and promotes knowledge exchange, contributing to the advancement of healthcare services in both countries.
The initiative builds on the Kingdom’s globally recognized leadership in health transformation and its pioneering experience in digital health and virtual care.
