His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, reviewed today the operations of the Medical Transfer, Command & Control Center of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, which plays a key role in implementing emergency response plans and field medical services during this year’s Hajj season.
Upon his arrival, he was received by the Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, and the President of the
Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al Owaisi.
During the visit, His Royal Highness reviewed the emergency response system, incident management procedures, field team dispatch mechanisms, and the technologies used to monitor operational readiness and enhance emergency response across the holy sites.
Prince Abdulaziz also received a briefing from Dr. Fahad Al Hajjaj, Hajj Operations Commander at the
Saudi Red Crescent Authority, on the medical transfer system, coordination mechanisms between emergency teams and healthcare facilities, and the role of the
Command and Control Center in accelerating decision-making and improving response times to strengthen the integration of healthcare services provided to pilgrims.
He also reviewed a range of modern emergency vehicles, specialized ambulance equipment, and advanced technologies that support the Authority’s field readiness and contribute to enhancing emergency medical services during the Hajj season.
The visit was attended by Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Faleh, Assistant Minister of Interior; Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Mohammed bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs; Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Rabeeah, Deputy General Supervisor of the Minister’s Office; and Maj. Gen. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Aruwan, Director General of the Minister’s Office for Studies and Research.
