The Ministry of Health urged pilgrims to avoid sharing shaving tools during Tahallul (the ritual hair shaving or trimming after Hajj rites) to protect themselves from infections that may be transmitted through personal grooming items.
The Ministry also stressed the importance of following preventive health guidelines throughout the pilgrimage, including carrying an umbrella, drinking water regularly, wearing a face mask in crowded areas, and avoiding direct exposure to the sun during peak heat hours.
This comes as part of the health system’s awareness efforts to enhance pilgrims’ safety and promote health awareness during the 1447H Hajj season.
