Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel has issued a decision appointing Abdulaziz Al Abdulbaqi as the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, in addition to his current role as Advisor to the Minister. The appointment comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen institutional communication, leverage qualified national talent, and align media messaging with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The appointment aims to unify the Ministry’s media communications, enhance transparency, and raise public awareness of developments in the health sector, contributing to greater public trust by providing accurate and reliable information that reflects the rapid progress of the Health Sector Transformation Program.
Abdulaziz Al Abdulbaqi brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, healthcare quality, international health cooperation, performance governance, and the development of regulatory frameworks, in addition to his expertise in strengthening governance and improving healthcare service efficiency.
He has held several leadership positions within the Ministry of Health and the Health Sector Transformation Program, where he contributed to developing key initiatives and enhancing institutional performance.
The Ministry of Health reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening communication with the public and the media while providing reliable and transparent information in support of the ongoing development of Saudi Arabia’s health sector.
