Minister of Health H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel visited several healthcare facilities in Jeddah and Al Lith today as part of a field tour to inspect healthcare services provided to beneficiaries and assess their quality and efficiency. The visit supports the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to build a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system.
The tour included Al Lith General Hospital, inaugurated last month by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region. The hospital has a capacity of 100 beds and provides integrated healthcare services supported by advanced medical equipment and modern technologies, in line with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The project was delivered at a cost exceeding SAR 209 million, reflecting continued investment in developing healthcare services across the governorates.
The visit also included Saja Pharmaceutical Factory and King Abdulaziz Hospital, where the Minister reviewed initiatives to enhance the beneficiary experience, improve procedures, and increase the efficiency of healthcare service delivery.
The field tour reflects the Ministry of Health’s ongoing efforts to strengthen field oversight, facilitate access to high-quality healthcare services, and support continuous performance improvement in line with its strategic objectives.
