Health Minister Reviews Saudi Red Crescent Readiness and 2028 Strategy

​The Minister of Health and Chairman of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, visited the Authority’s headquarters today, coinciding with its Board of Directors’ meeting for the first quarter of 2026. During the visit, he reviewed the latest developments in emergency medical services and the Authority’s readiness to respond to emergency cases.

H.E. reviewed the Authority’s emergency response readiness, emergency and crisis management mechanisms, and national emergency medical performance indicators. He also reviewed the emergency response journey, from receiving a call to delivering services to beneficiaries. In addition, he was briefed on the progress of the Authority’s 2028 Strategy implementation through presentations by 17 product teams, showcasing achievements made since the beginning of the year and key operational and development milestones across various workstreams.
During the visit, H.E. attended the Eid gathering for the Authority’s employees, commending their dedication to delivering emergency medical services and their field efforts to strengthen response times and enhance the quality of emergency care.
The visit reflects ongoing efforts to support the development of healthcare services and strengthen integration across the emergency response system, in line with Saudi Vision 2030​ objectives to improve quality of life and enhance community safety.
