Health Sector Delivers Over 184,000 Healthcare Services to Pilgrims

The Saudi health sector provided 184,509 healthcare services to Umrah performers and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque throughout Ramadan, as part of its efforts to ensure access to high-quality healthcare and support pilgrims in performing their rituals safely and comfortably, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
The services included 109,793 emergency department visits, 64,892 beneficiaries served through Primary Healthcare Centers, 8,687 hospital admissions, and 794 surgical procedures, delivered through an integrated, high-quality healthcare system.
These efforts were carried out through close coordination across the health sector to ensure the quality and sustainability of healthcare services. The Ministry of Health continues to oversee service efficiency and strengthen compliance with approved regulations, further enhancing the quality of healthcare provided to pilgrims.
