Over 70,000 Healthcare Services for Pilgrims in 10 Days of Ramadan

The health sector provided a total of 70,287 healthcare services to Umrah performers between the 11th and 20th of Ramadan, as part of its ongoing efforts to ensure easy access to high-quality healthcare services. These efforts support pilgrims in performing their rituals with comfort and peace of mind, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
According to the Ministry of Health, healthcare facilities performed 278 surgeries across various specialties, including 111 cardiac catheterization procedures. A total of 3,385 patients were admitted to hospitals, emergency departments recorded 42,422 visits, and 24,091 beneficiaries received services at Primary Healthcare Centers.
These efforts continue through close coordination across the health sector to ensure the quality and sustainability of healthcare services. The Ministry of Health continues to oversee service efficiency and regulatory compliance, supporting its strategic objectives while enhancing the quality of healthcare provided to pilgrims and visitors.
