His Royal Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Governor of the Najran Region, commended the care and support provided by the wise leadership to the health sector, as well as its keenness to provide healthcare for citizens, preserve their health and safety, and build healthy generations capable of continuing the nation's journey of development and progress.
This came as His Highness inaugurated today in his office the national campaign for immunization against seasonal influenza, in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Health branch in the region, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Bani Hameem, and a number of branch staff.
Dr. Bani Hameem explained that the campaign comes within the framework of efforts aimed at enhancing health awareness and reducing seasonal influenza infections, noting that health efforts in the region are integrated through a joint working system that includes the Ministry of Health branch in Najran, the Public Health Authority office (Weqaya(, the Najran Health Cluster, and government and private health sectors, contributing to achieving the campaign's objectives and reaching target groups across the city and governorates of Najran.
He emphasized the importance of immunization for target groups, stating that the campaign will last for four months and include awareness programs at various locations throughout the region, with the option to book an appointment to receive the vaccine via the "Sehaty" application.
