Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, inaugurated The Red Sea Hospital, a facility developed by Red Sea Global (RSG) as part of its "Red Sea Health" ecosystem, and operated by Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group. The opening enhances healthcare readiness and accessibility in line with the Kingdom's rapidly expanding tourism sector.
The facility houses 44 beds, 41 outpatient clinics, 9 ICU and neonatal units, and 3 operating theaters, including a dedicated C-section suite. It offers comprehensive medical, surgical, and emergency care to deliver advanced healthcare for both residents and international visitors.
Highlighting the project's significance, Minister AlJalajel noted that the Kingdom's tourism sector is undergoing qualitative growth driven by ambitious destinations like The Red Sea. He added that the new hospital represents a key milestone in integrating high-quality healthcare into prime tourist regions, while showcasing the expanding role of the private sector in operating world-class medical facilities.
This launch stems from a strategic partnership formed in September 2025 between RSG and Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Group to manage healthcare facilities across the destination, merging sustainable real estate development with specialized clinical operational expertise.
The ceremony was attended by RSG Group CEO John Pagano, Chairman of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Group Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib, alongside senior government and corporate leaders.
The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Health Sector Transformation Program, which focus on expanding care access, deepening public-private partnerships, and boosting the overall quality of life across the Kingdom.
