The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, announced the completion of school fitness screening procedures for new students for the academic year 1448 AH, supporting their health, protection, and preparation for a healthy and safe academic start as part of efforts to promote prevention and elevate the quality of health services provided to students.
The Ministry explained that the screening procedures covered approximately 332,931 male and female students, alongside completing due basic vaccinations, raising awareness among students' families about discovered health conditions, and guiding them to pursue necessary follow-up care to contribute to early detection and enhance student health and prevention.
The Ministry of Health reaffirmed its continued efforts, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Public Health Authority (Weqaya), and Health Clusters, to promote student health, deliver necessary preventive services, and raise health awareness among students and their families to ensure a healthy and safe educational environment.
