King Fahad Medical City has recently launched awareness activities on nutrition of cancer patients, in panorama center, Riyadh. These activities featured an awareness exhibition to enhance community health, to control and prevent cancer through raising awareness among various categories of community members on cancer and its risks, as well as motivating them to adopt healthy lifestyles and change their dietary patterns by reducing their consumption of calorie-rich junk food, energy drinks and oil-rich fries, which could cause several diseases, especially cancer.
It is noted that these activities have attracted considerable audience, including families who had detailed presentations on cancer and its risks. They also have been updated, by therapeutic feeding specialists at King Fahad Medical City, on how to avoid and prevent cancer.
