The Saudi Health Exhibition Kicks off

His Excellency the Minister of Civil Service, Mr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Araj, highlighted that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, May Allah Protect him- pays close attention to the health sector by allocating a large portion of the state budget for this sector as it touches upon the citizen's healthcare. He noted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is obsessed with this sector in order to provide healthcare for the citizens and residents.
This came while launching, on behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, the activities of the Saudi Health Exhibition 2015 organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH), this Monday morning at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
He added that the exhibition has witnessed a major development compared to last year and draws its importance from the high participation of the specialized companies in the health field and countries such as USA, Canada and Germany, the matter which reflects the importance of the Saudi market, in addition to the participation of large numbers of the concerned visitors, including businessmen and health professionals, wishing that the exhibition will be more advanced in the coming years.
It's worth noting that the exhibition has witnessed participation of 164 international and domestic speakers representing 38 countries. Its activities will continue up to the 20th of May from 10:00 AM up to 6:00 PM daily.
It includes a number of medical conferences, notably the Third Conference for Health Leadership, the Emergency Medicine Conference, the Third Conference for Medical Engineering, the Health Informatics Conference, the Third Nursing Conference, the Public Health Conference, the Infection Control Conference, the Diagnostic Radiology Conference, the Third Cardiac Diseases Conference, the Medical Radiation Technology Conference, the Third Conference of Medical Laboratories, the Second Conference of Medical Qualification and the Medical Physics Conference.
The most prominent international pavilions participating in the exhibition include Canada, USA, UK, Germany and Italy, in addition to Turkey, Taiwan, New Zealand, Czech, Pakistan, China and Korea.
Likewise, the Exhibition will be attended by a number of domestic bodies such as, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Saudi Health Council, King Fahad Medical City, Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Humanitarian City, the Saudi Central Board of Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), the Council of Saudi Chambers, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Saudi Radiological Society, the Saudi Society of Medical Radiologic Technology, the Saudi Medical Physics Society, the Saudi Society of Medical Services, the Saudi Heart Association and the American Heart Association.
