Hail Governor Inaugurates Hail General Hospital

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, presided today over the inauguration ceremony of Hail General Hospital, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Hail Region, the Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, and the Undersecretary of the Governorate, Ali bin Salem Al Amer.

Upon his arrival, His Highness officially opened Hail General Hospital and toured its departments and facilities, accompanied by the Deputy Governor, the Minister of Health, and the Undersecretary of the Governorate.
The ceremony began with a visual presentation highlighting the healthcare system in the region, followed by the inauguration of 37 health and development projects worth 1.6 billion SAR. These included upgrades to the Endoscopy Unit, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and the Diabetic Foot Center at King Khalid Hospital, as well as improvements to Al-Muntazah Al-Sharqi Health Center and the dental clinics at Mawqaq General Hospital. Additional projects included the opening of the Mufreh Al-Rashidi Urgent Care Center, the Sheikh Abdulkarim Al-Mojil Medical Rehabilitation Center, the dialysis center in Sumairah (funded by Abdullah Al-Othaim & Sons Charity), and the Dr. Mohammed Al-Mojil Endoscopy Unit at King Salman Specialist Hospital.
Projects also featured the provision of a cardiac catheterization system donated by AlOjaimi Charity, a CT scanner donated by Awad bin Jazaa Al-Rudaiman, and a pediatric dialysis unit in partnership with Sfanah Health Charity. Additional initiatives by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority included establishing and equipping emergency centers across Jubbah, Ash Shinan, Baqaa, Trubah, Amaaer ben Sanaa, as well as five more centers in As Sufun, Dulayhan, Al-Hulayfah As-Sufla, Sumaira, and Al Suairah (donated by Fawzia Al-Juffali). Further contributions included an air-ambulance landing pad in Al-Qaid (donated by Dr. Mohammed Al-Yahya), a university emergency center (donated by Amal Al-Subaie), and an additional medical warehouse (donated by Ajwa Al-Arab Company). Moreover, 18 air-ambulance landing pads were constructed through collaboration between Hail Health Cluster and the municipality.
The Minister of Health emphasized the remarkable advancements in the Kingdom’s healthcare system supported by the leadership, noting that the Ministry continues to align with the nation’s comprehensive development. He added that the average life expectancy in Hail has reached 83.5 years, making it the highest among all regions.
HRH the Governor praised the attention devoted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince to the health sector and other vital fields, noting the rapid development Hail is witnessing. He extended his appreciation to the Minister of Health and his team for their efforts, and commended the Hail Health Cluster and regional entities for their collaborative work.
The event also witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements, including an agreement between Hail Health Cluster and the University of Hail, another with the regional Education Department to enhance school health programs, a third with Sfanah Health Charity to support mobile clinics and expand access to peripheral communities, and a fourth with Al Salimi United Company to establish a dental clinic complex at Qufar Health Center.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, HRH the Governor honored donors, contributors to regional healthcare initiatives, winners of the “Fekr” Innovation Award, and participants in the Northern Health Leadership Training Forum.
