Saudi Health Minister Launches Global Health Exhibition , Seals SAR124B Deals

​The Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, inaugurated today the 8th edition of the Global Health Exhibition 2025, hosted in Riyadh at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Mulham, under the theme “Invest in Health”, and organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Health.

The Minister extended deep gratitude to the wise leadership for its unwavering support to the health sector, in line with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program, one of the key initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030. He noted that the world continues to face escalating health challenges, ranging from chronic diseases and rising healthcare costs to workforce shortages.
AlJalajel highlighted that Saudi Arabia’s health transformation journey has enabled remarkable progress, including a 40% reduction in deaths from chronic diseases, a 60% decline in road traffic fatalities, and an increase in life expectancy to 79 years, thanks to the integration of national efforts and government collaboration.
He reviewed several major initiatives that have translated into tangible achievements, such as localizing insulin production, developing the digital twin project, implementing early screening programs and clinical trials, as well as advancing the second generation of “Takkad” centers and the Saudi Model of Care.
During his speech, the Minister announced the launch of new initiatives, including the “AI Physician” virtual doctor experience powered by artificial intelligence to enhance diagnostic accuracy, the localization of vaccine manufacturing in partnership with global companies, and the introduction of the “Smart Health Coach” in collaboration with Google through the “Sehhaty” app, which will serve as a personal digital health advisor for every user.
AlJalajel revealed that the exhibition will witness the signing of agreements and investments exceeding SAR 124 billion, reinforcing the Kingdom’s efforts to drive innovation and build a more sustainable and advanced healthcare future, in support of health and quality of life for all.
