The Volunteering Center at the Saudi Ministry of Health has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining five international ISO certifications across key operational areas. This accomplishment reflects the Center’s strong commitment to quality, institutional excellence, and best practices in managing health-related volunteer work in the Kingdom.
The achievement highlights the Center’s ongoing efforts to enhance organizational structure, streamline operational procedures, and promote sustainability and social responsibility. These efforts align with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030.
The certifications awarded to the Center include: ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety, ISO 22301 for Business Continuity,and ISO 30401 for Knowledge Management.
As one of the flagship initiatives under the Ministry’s Community Participation Program, the Volunteering Center continues to play a vital role in expanding the culture of volunteering and enhancing the impact of community engagement in the healthcare sector.
