The Ministry of Health has launched the “Biotech Accelerator" program to support and empower Saudi innovators in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences. The program aims to enhance their scientific and commercial readiness, prepare them to attract investments, and expand their access to global markets. It also seeks to encourage their active contributions to improving the quality of healthcare services. This initiative aligns with the objectives of the National Biotechnology Strategy and the Health Sector Transformation Program, as part of Saudi Vision 2030, which aspires to build a thriving economy driven by innovation and diversity, and a vibrant society enjoying sustainable health and high quality of life.
The seven-month program offers participants a comprehensive framework that includes guided mentorship, capacity building, and opportunities to connect with local and international investors and experts.
The program also features advanced workshops, seminars, and one-on-one advisory sessions, in addition to an exclusive opportunity to showcase innovations at the BIO 2025 Global Conference.
The Ministry announced that the deadline for application submission is May 8, with interviews and initial selection scheduled from May 15 to 20. The final list of selected participants will be announced on May 25, 2025.
The Ministry of Health continues its efforts to promote health innovation and accelerate the scientific and commercial development of promising national projects.
