Ministry of Health organized a training program on surveillance based on event-based internet using the EIOS program, in cooperation with World Health Organization, in the period from January 30th, to February 1st, 2023 in Riyadh.
The program aims to reduce impact of emerging risks on public health through early detection and evaluation thereof; Where Ministry's employees were trained to use the system, through training packages prepared under supervision of WHO, and by holding lectures and workshops.
Participants in the program were also honored by the Ministry Undersecretary for Public Health, Dr. Hani Joukhadar, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Preventive Health, Dr. Abdullah Asiri, and the CEO of the Public Health Authority, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qweizani and Director of the World Health Organization office in Riyadh, Dr. Adham Abdel Moneim.
