The Eastern Region: 600+ Beneficiaries of Preparedness for Chemical and Radiological Emergencies Training Course

According to the Eastern Region Health Affairs, more than 600 health professionals have attended a training course on “Preparedness for Chemical and Radiological Emergencies”, which was organized by the Affairs in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare. The training course targeted the health professionals in the Kingdom and Gulf states. It comes as a part of a series of weekly courses to scaling up the readiness of the health professionals to deal with chemical and radiological incidents in hospitals.


The Affairs is working on operating the planning and emergency preparedness units in public and private hospitals, and carrying out periodic hypotheses to raise the degree of health professionals’ readiness and enabling them to deal effectively and quickly once incidents occurred.
