According to Riyadh Health Affairs, a Model Eye Clinic has been launched at Thadiq General Hospital. The clinics has been equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, and enhanced with a specialist physician to contribute to providing and improving therapeutic service for patients.
It is noted that this step comes in continuation of a number of development initiatives, including the establishment of new clinics in subspecialties (e.g. diabetic retinopathy treatment) at Al-Quayeyah General Hospital, two clinics for glaucoma treatment at Huraymala General Hospital, and a pediatric eye clinic at Muzahimiyah General Hospital, in addition to establishing and equipping three eye operations rooms for cataract treatment at Al-Dawadmi General Hospital, Shaqra General Hospital, and Huraymala General Hospital; to support King Khaled Hospital-Al-Kharj and King Khaled Hospital-Al-Majma’ah that have developed their clinics and enhanced them with medical cadres and supplies.
