MOH Records 886 COVID-19 New Cases, Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of continuation to adhere to precautionary measures, including wearing face-masks and maintaining physical distancing, even after having the vaccine, highlighting that the vaccine significantly contributes​ to reducing infection, but does not prevent it, especially since the virus is still spreading​.


According to MOH's latest statistics, 886 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 433,980 confirmed cases, including 7,892 active cases and 1,377 critical cases.

In addition, 1,127 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 418,914 recoveries. Also, 12 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,174, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 61,665 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
