MOH Records 1,045 COVID-19 New Cases, Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions to Stop the Virus

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of adherence to precautionary measures, including wearing face-masks and maintaining physical distancing; to stop the spread of the virus. 


According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,045 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 414,219 confirmed cases, including 9,710 active cases and 1,277 critical cases.

In addition, 983 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 397,587 recoveries. Also, 9 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,922, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 64,782 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
