Under the patronage of the Health Minister and Chairman of the Health Endowment Fund, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, and Chairman of Board of Directors of Jahez International Company for Information Technology, Prince Meshal bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, a community partnership agreement was signed between the two sides. The agreement aims at supporting the fund initiatives and Shefa treatment platform and expanding the fund partnerships with companies and other community groups.
It is noteworthy that the fund was established by a decision of the Council of Ministers, and has a legal personality, under the chairmanship of the Health Minister. Its key objective is to encourage the community contribution to supporting the government’s health development efforts. Also, the Shefa treatment platform is one of the fund’s qualitative initiatives, with the aim of facilitating the provision of treatment to needy patients who do not have medical eligibility, in cooperation with the private health associations in all regions of the Kingdom.
