The Pharmaceutical Care General Department at the Ministry of Health (MOH), in collaboration with the Social Nursery-Riyadh, has held an awareness event under the title «Your Safety is Our Goal», targeting students, supervisors, and mothers. The event included an interactive presentation, an educational corner on different ways of infection with Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its prevention, in addition to an introductory corner on dangers of energy drinks, herbal mixtures, and excessive intake of caffeine and various stimuli. Also, a special corner has been equipped to raise awareness about chronic diseases, such as diabetes and asthma.
Besides, the event featured educational lectures presented on monitors, as well as organizing an awareness competition, providing pharmacological advice and consultations, and distributing awareness bags containing souvenirs and publications on the event. It is noted that precautionary measures, in terms of physical distancing, wearing face masks and sterilizing hands, have been taken during the event.
