The Diabetes and Endocrinology Center of King Fahd Central Hospital-Jazan is implementing the initiative: “Stay Home and We Are at Your Service”, which aims to provide continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and medical supplies to patients at their homes in various governorates of Jazan.
The initiative served 302 patients, with the provision of 1,524 CGMs. Virtual clinics have also been implemented to communicate with patients, to monitor their health conditions by the center’s physicians, and to complete the pre-prescribed therapy plans.
This initiative comes in implementation of the health precautions issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to protect patients, and to stop the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
