Makkah: 12,000 Beneficiaries of Virtual Clinics at King Abdullah Medical City

​As part of its precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, King Abdullah Medical City- Makkah has activated the virtual clinics initiative at outpatient clinics.​

The service allows direct contact between doctor and patients through virtual telephone call during which the doctor checks the patient health and answer his inquiries. There are more than 626 clinics operating weekly. Also, the initiative helps patients to receive advanced health services with ease and comfort, including medication dispensing and delivery to their homes free of charge. The initiative, which was launched recently, served 12,000 beneficiaries.  

The initiative is designated for all consulting clinics, including: cardiac health, ophthalmology, oncology, hematology, ENT, neurologic, spine surgery, orthopedic specialist clinics, specialized surgeries, oncology surgery, and finally gastrointestinal and internal diseases.
