According to the Northern Region Health Affairs, over the past year (2019), Jadidat Arar Hospital served more than 14,300 patients, with 10,911 emergencies, 3,300 outpatients, in addition to 284 inpatients.
“Also, the hospital performed 4,988 lab tests, 372 minor surgeries, 1,037 radiology examinations, 96 home medical visits for patients enrolled in the Home Medicine Program (HMP), as well as dispensing 13,206 medical prescriptions,” stated the Affairs.
It is worth mentioning that the Northern Borders Health Affairs features ten specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, three diabetes centers, three kidney centers, and three dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, which are enhanced with a number of delicate medical specialties such as: neurosurgery, heart surgery, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and others. Besides, the Affairs has 48 primary healthcare centers.
